Membership Terms & Conditions

  1. MEMBERSHIP REGISTRATION
    New membership registration is now available @ online website and Jim Thompson stores, excluding duty-free stores (King Power).
     
  2. CARD USAGE
    Jim Thompson membership can be used across our normal-price retail stores, outlet stores, café, and silk bar excluding duty-free stores and online websites.
    • Earn 1 point for every 25 Baht spent @ our normal price retail stores, café, and bar.
    • Earn 1 point for every 50 Baht spent @ outlet stores.
     
  3. POINTS EARNING @ RETAIL STORES
    Jim Thompson points are reflected in your membership account instantly after the transaction is completed @ our retail stores and outlet stores. The criteria for earning points for each product category are based on terms and conditions. For Silk Café and Jim's Terrace, your earned points will be posted to your membership account within 1 working day after the date of service.
     
  4. EARNING POINTS ON SPECIAL PRICE PRODUCTS AT NORMAL RETAIL STORES
    Jim Thompson points are reflected in your membership account instantly after the transaction is completed @ our retail stores as well as special price products which are discounted less than 50%.
    Please provide your personal information (either your registered telephone number or your name) before checking out at our retail stores.
     
  5. BACKDATE FOR EARNING POINTS
    It is not possible to backdate Jim Thompson's membership points at this moment. Please provide your membership information before checking out at our retail stores.
     
  6. POINTS TRANSFER
    Our Jim Thompson membership points cannot be transferred to another membership account.

  7. MEMBERSHIP PRIVILEGES
    Members can enjoy privilege discounts along with many offered privileges from Jim Thompson stores, bars, and cafes as well as special privileges from our partnerships via our website https://www.jimthompson.com or Jim Thompson stores. Please find below the information for your membership privileges reference.

  9. MEMBERSHIP VALIDITY
    • Jim Thompson Membership Privilege is valid throughout the 24 months period from your joining/renewal/upgrade date.
      For example, if your membership privilege was registered on 3rd January 2022, your membership privilege will remain valid until 31st January 2024.
    • Your membership privilege is for your personal use and is non-transferable.

  10. MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL
    To renew your membership privilege status, you need to retain your spending based on your tier within 24 months period. Then your membership privilege status will continue to be valid

    For example, if you are on a silk reserve membership and you are nearly at the end of your membership privilege period and have not spent enough to maintain your membership privilege, the system will automatically send an email notification with spending suggestions. If you have not spent enough to maintain your privilege membership, the system will automatically downgrade your privilege membership based on your spending (Please refer to tier spending below table).

  11. PRIVILEGE REDEMPTION
    Customers can visit and view our offered and standard privileges via https://www.jimthompson.com. Then select the voucher/service privileges that you would like to redeem over the website and the system will automatically offset your membership points after redemption success. Or you can ask our retail store assistants to provide support on privilege redemption.

  12. VOUCHER/PRIVILEGE TRANSFER
    Your privileges or redeemed vouchers cannot be transferred/shared to other membership accounts.

  13. JT MEMBERSHIP POINTS EXPIRY DATE
    JT Membership Points are valid for 2 years after your invoice date with your membership remaining in active status even if your privilege may not remain on the same level as when you first acquired membership points.
    For example, if your invoice date is 2nd March 2022 and you earned 200 points for that invoice, your 200 membership points will still expire on 31st March 2024.

  14. PRODUCT RETURN & POINTS RETURN POLICY
    For in-store purchases, if a return was made, our sales assistants will check your membership points balance whether your account has enough points to return your product or not. If you do not have enough points, your request may be declined, and therefore can only exchange products with the same prices or higher than your exchange product. The additional points will be accumulated if the price of the exchanged product is higher than the returned product.
    The Company reserves the right to decline the return of products if the purchasing invoice is older than 15 days, or if the customer cannot show the original invoice or identify the purchasing information to our sales assistants to find the purchasing history.

  15. UPDATE PERSONAL INFORMATION
    • Access your personal account via https://www.jimthompson.com. Then process to update your personal information in the update personal information menu.
    • Send an email to excellent@jimthompson.com with details and information.

  16. LOST CARDS (HARD COPY ONLY)
    In the case of a lost or stolen Jim Thompson membership card (hard copy only), the customer must immediately report excellent service to the Jim Thompson customer via excellent@jimthompson.com. Our Customer Excellent Service team will send the request summary to you. The customer must confirm whether they would like to get the replacement card (a processing fee will be charged) or report the case of the lost card only.
    • REPORT LOST CARD ONLY
      The customer still be able to enjoy the same membership privileges with our digital card @ https://www.jimthompson.com with the same privileges as a physical card.
    • REPORT LOST CARD & REQUEST FOR REPLACEMENT CARD
      The customer must confirm the replacement card form via telephone or email. The processing fee of 300 Baht will be charged for issuing the new membership card. During the delivery time of the new physical card to your house, you can still enjoy your privileges and collect points via our digital card @ https://www.jimthompson.com

  17. DATA PROTECTION PERMISSION
    As per PDPA consent, customers can personalize their consent whether to allow Jim Thompson to update and retain information provided by the member on a confidential database as well as personalize their consent to allow Jim Thompson, from time to time, to send you marketing materials and membership updates.
    To update/change your PDPA consent, you can contact our PDPA service team at dpo@jimthompson.com.

  18. PROGRAMME / PRIVILEGE CHANGES
    Jim Thompson reserves the right to modify or amend the conditions of membership without notice.
